Mission and Vision
SNIA regularly articulates its mission and vision as a part of its strategic planning process. Led by the SNIA Board of Directors, supported by SNIA staff, and through the engagements of hundreds of SNIA volunteer members, these mission and vision statements become codified, ratified, and implemented as deliverables for the association.
As a part of the 2012-2014 Strategic Plan, on September 30, 2011, SNIA unveiled an expanded mission and vision that positions the association to lead the industry in developing and promoting standards, technologies, and educational services to empower organizations in the management of information.
