Join the Green Storage TWG

The SNIA Technical Council (TC) recently announced the approval of the charter for a provisional Green Storage Technical Work Group (TWG). The Green Storage TWG will act as the primary technical entity for the SNIA to identify, develop and coordinate technical matters related to energy and cooling.

The work of the SNIA Green Task Force will continue, with Clod Barrera (IBM) and SW Worth (Microsoft) continuing to chair that group as it transitions its work toward a new SNIA initiative, committee or forum. TC member Erik Riedel from Seagate will be provisional Chair of the Green Storage TWG until a permanent Chair is elected.

The SNIA encourages interested companies to forward this message to their engineering departments, and to join this group's important work.
