STA and SNIA Europe Join Forces to Step Up Serial Attached SCSI Education in EMEA

The SCSI Trade Association (STA) and SNIA Europe recently announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to geographically expand the reach of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology and marketing information resources currently offered to members, end-users and reseller channels in the USA. Under the agreement, SNIA Europe will represent STA in the European, Middle East and African (EMEA) markets. In addition, SNIA Europe will receive and implement STA's future marketing plans and roadmaps.

Harry Mason, Director of Industry Marketing, LSI Corporation and President of STA, commented, "STA has been working with SNIA Europe for the past three years, and with SAS becoming an integral part of enterprise storage, it was time to formalize our co-marketing arrangement. SNIA Europe's strong presence in EMEA will help STA's effort to reach that geographic area with the SAS message. With the support of SNIA Europe, STA looks forward to implementing a broad SAS marketing program in the EMEA region."
