Farsighted - SNIA International Updates

SNIA Europe's France Committee Increases Presence in the Media and at End User Events

The France Committee of SNIA Europe recently participated in the CRIP annual conference attended by 1000 visitors (600 end users) in Paris for 2 days, 21-22 June. CRIP is one of the largest IT end user organizations in France. SNIA's presence included a booth and a keynote presentation by Daniel Sazbon, SNIA Europe SNIA Treasurer, introducing SNIA's mission, organization and value proposition to the end user audience. The standardisation work on CDMI also featured in Daniel's presentation.

France Committee leaders Christine Pugnet (Marketing Chair) and Olivier Alluis (Vice-Chair) leveraged SNIA's participation in this event by opening discussions with the CRIP Director Mr François STEPHAN on opportunities to develop ongoing collaboration between the two organizations on the hottest subjects in the market: cloud, virtualization, convergence and security. In addition, Jean-François Marie (France Committee Chair) and Pierre Sabloniere (Technical Chair) participated in several media briefings, including with Tier 1 publications "Solutions& Logiciels" and "01informatique".
