Focus on Technology that Matters to You at SNIA’s September Events

Storage Developer Conference

For developers, architects, engineers, or product/program managers, the SNIA’s 2010 Storage Developer Conference (SDC) has an agenda that focuses on the most important tools, technologies, and tactics needed in data storage, management, and security. Being held September 20 - 23, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, Calif., SDC is consistently rated as “indispensable” by the storage development professionals who attend.

With an unparalleled agenda – developed under the supervision of the SNIA Technical Council – SDC addresses top topics including advances in hardware, cloud storage, data deduplication, FCOE, file systems, green technologies, virtualization, security, solid state storage, storage management, storage testing, and CIFS/SMB/ SMB2.

SDC’s deep coverage and hands–on–training includes four highly-focused tracks every day, outstanding keynote and featured presentations, the CIFS/SMB/SMB2 Plugfest (once again underwritten by Microsoft), and the Hands–on–Labs for Developers.

SNIA is also pleased to announce that with the generous support of NetApp as the keynote address sponsor, noted industry luminary and best-selling author, Geoffrey Moore, will be presenting as the simultaneous SDC closing keynote speaker and CloudBurst Summit opening keynote speaker at these co-located events in Santa Clara on September 23rd.

SNIA Cloud Burst Summit

In addition to the many cloud storage activities planned for SDC, on September 23rd, the SNIA will host the 2010 SNIA Cloud Burst Summit, co-located with SDC.

Bringing together end users, cloud storage vendors and cloud providers, the SNIA Cloud Burst Summit will offer education and insight into this fast-growing market segment. Join us, and hear from industry luminaries, see live demonstrations, and talk to technology vendors about how to get started with cloud storage.

SNIA Cloud Burst Summit attendees can join either in person or via a live-streamed event, with on-demand post-summit viewing. For more information, visit http://www.snia.org/cloud/CloudBurst/.
