Online Group for SMI Developers is Formed

The Storage Management Initiative-Specification (SMI-S) community recently invited the industry to participate in the first online community for SMI-S developers. With SMI-S version 1.3.0, rev 5, recently approved by SNIA voting members, the newly unveiled online resource is open to everyone to accelerate SMI-S implementation and quality.

Located online at http://groups.google.com/group/smi-s-developers-group?hl=en&lnk=sg, the SMI-S Developers Group is designed to give current and prospective SMI-S engineers, architects, and Q/A personnel access to key resources like education, development tools, and support services. The portal allows questions to be posed directly to the individuals leading the SMI-S program.
