SNIA Tutorial Regional Representative Agreement (STRR)

The SNIA Tutorial Regional Representative Agreement (“STRR”) provides Regional Affiliates (“RAs”) with direct access to the SNIA Tutorial Repository. The purpose of this new agreement is to make this position more formal and to define the role more clearly. The main intent of this process is to allow better scaling and increased automation for wider use and distribution of the SNIA Tutorials in keeping with the mission of SNIA Education.

The SNIA Tutorial Regional Representative Agreement ("STRR") is entered into by and between the individual indicated below ("Regional Representative") and the Storage Networking Industry Association ("SNIA") with offices located at 425 Market Street, Suite 1020, San Francisco, CA 94105 USA.

WHEREAS, SNIA hosts or co-hosts events covering various topics and themes and provides SNIA Tutorials that may be presented at regional events;

WHEREAS, I have agreed to assume the rights and responsibilities as a regional representative, designated by the SNIA Regional Affiliate Chair, for the distribution and use of the SNIA Tutorials as defined herein;

WHEREAS, I agree that the STRR appointment is subject to veto or subsequent removal by the SNIA Tutorial Chair;

NOW THEREFORE, I hereby acknowledge that I have been designated by the SNIA Regional Affiliate Chair and agree to the terms of agreement and accept the following responsibilities:

1. to manage the use and distribution of the SNIA Tutorial PowerPoint Presentations and speaker audio files made available for international events within my region;
2. to provide the SNIA education program manager with my SNIA website login username in order to be given direct access to the SNIA Tutorial Repository to download the PowerPoint Presentations and audio files; thereby providing the education program manager with a data report of my regional repository activities;
3. to ensure the following speaker information is obtained before each PowerPoint presentation and/or audio file is retrieved from the SNIA Tutorial Repository and distributed to the speaker:
   • Signed “Speaker Information and Audio/Video Agreement” which includes:
     1. Signed FAQ for SNIA Tutorials ("FAQ") Agreement
     2. Speaker name AND Title of Presentation
     3. Event name, location and dates

The STRR Agreement is an online signature form and signed only once for the duration of the assignment as an STRR.

If a representative resigns from the STRR position, and at another time is again appointed to be a STRR, then the agreement would need to be signed again.
