Participation Options and How to Join the DMF
If your company is already a member of the Data Management Forum click here and go to the "All Groups" page of the SNIA Members area. Select the “Data Management Forum” group, and complete the form to request membership in the DMF.
Step #1 - Join the SNIA
In order for you to become a member of the DMF, you (or your company) must be a member of the SNIA. Click here and you will find a description of the benefits of joining SNIA. Select Join Now at the bottom of the page which will take you directly to the online sign-up process.
Step #2 - Join the DMF
Opportunities exist for participation within the DMF as an individual participant or as a corporate member.
- Individuals are welcome to participate in the DMF and contribute with non-voting status
- Enjoy the opportunity to interact directly with storage industry experts from other SNIA member companies
- Individuals have limited access to the DMF private portal and rights regarding posting documents, speaking, and leadership roles within the forum.
- Individual Membership dues are $100 per year.
- Click here to Join the DMF and select "individual" membership at the bottom of the form.
- All employees of Corporate DMF member companies have full rights, including voting and event participation

Corporate Membership Fee Structure
Large Company Member (>$100M in annual revenue) is $20,000 per year
Medium Company Member (>$5M and < $100M in annual revenue) is $12,500 per year
Emerging Company Member $5,000 per year

Once your application is approved and payment complete, your user id and password will be sent to you via e-mail, confirming acceptance.
Step #3 - Get Involved in DMF Programs
Once you are a member of the DMF you are eligible to join our committees and workgroups. All of these activities take place at our members-area operating portal. To access this portal you will need the user id and password e-mailed to you as part of the registration process.
Within the private operating portal visit the operations home page to see a full list of current workgroups, and committees. To become actively involved in a workgroup, click the "join group" link near the top of the all groups home page. A join request will be sent to the chairperson. In most cases you will receive an acceptance notification by e-mail within a day. Repeat this process to join as many of the workgroups as you like.
