Brian Olson

Chief Technology Officer, Atempo

Brian Olson is a senior engineering expert with over 14 years of research and development experience in storage management software. Prior to Atempo, Olson led Storactive's worldwide engineering and customer support teams and grew the company's marketing-leading Continuous Data Protection (CDP) product line. Before Storactive, Olson directed the VERITAS Software / Seagate Software file-based replication product line. In this position he managed engineering, quality assurance and technical publications and served in product management and business development roles. Olson has also held development manager and storage software architect positions with Arcada Software, Conner Software, Sytron Corporation and Emeritus Technologies. At Atempo, Olson oversees new product development and customer support for the company's line of enterprise backup solutions and drives strategic innovation for future product development. A published author on the reconfigurable architectures of parallel multicomputer systems, Olson earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from California State University, Fresno.
