Time
to check your DMF Membership status:
Over
the past few months, the DMF has been working to
align its membership model with the SNIA
membership model. The final stages of the
membership merge are taking place this week. If
you, or your company, have not sustained
membership in the DMF for 2008 you will no longer
be able to login to the private DMF membership
portal. As always, access to and use of DMF
materials on our public-facing
website, remains free and unrestricted.
If you, or your company, would like to
renew its membership in the DMF, you can find out
how to join at: http://www.snia.org/forums/dmf/about/join/participation/.
We welcome your participation and value your input
as we work to develop best practices and drive
technology standardization and market awareness in
the areas of, information lifecycle management,
data protection technologies and strategies, and
long-term digital information retention and
preservation. |

Interested
in listening In?
The
work of the DMF is carried out in a variety of
ways, and each of the workgroups meet regularly
via conference calls to discuss ideas and complete
projects. Do you have a particular area of
interest but don't know how to get started? A good
way may be to listen in on some of these calls and
hear first-hand. Our weekly conference call
schedule is posted on our public website at: http://www.snia.org/forums/dmf/programs/
