New Offering from the
DMF
The SNIA Data Management Forum
(DMF) is offering "Snap-In" educational content
for your next event. We will customize our content
to fit the needs of your conference. We can
provide presentations or SNIA tutorials,
interactive workshops and/or experts to support
panel discussions - all at not cost to
you. We have prepared an outline
including six sample program tracks. A detailed
description and presentation abstracts are
available on the DMF Knowledge Center website.

Mark your Calendar - for
SNIA Winter Symposium
The SNIA Data
Management Forum will be holding our annual
strategic planning meeting during Winter Symposium
this year. Please plan on attending Symposium
which is being held at the Wyndham Hotel in San
Jose, CA, from January 28-February 1, 2008. DMF
related meetings will most likely be taking place
on Tuesday January 29th and Wednesday January
30th. Details will be provided shortly. Before the
holiday rush, mark your calendar and make your
travel arrangements! Each of the DMF Initiatives
are establishing goals and objectives to be
presented and prioritized for 2008. This is your
chance to contribute and have your company voice

Wanted! Fresh new ideas for
SNIA Tutorials:
he contributions
that SNIA members make in the form of developing
and presenting SNIA tutorials for SNW events
continue to be appreciated around the world. SNIA
Tutorials for SNW events continue to be
appreciated around the world. Over 50 such
presentations were offered during SNW events over
the past year. You too can participate by
submitting a proposal for review by the SNIA
Education Committee. If you are a subject matter
expert in an area you believe an SNW attendee
would be interested in - now is your chance to
participate and possibly get some exposure! If you
need help in developing an abstract, or have any
questions about the process, email ebull@snia-dmf.org.
