Open for DMF Review & Input

The latest version of the "Building a Terminology Bridge for Digital Retention, Deletion and Preservation in the Datacenter" whitepaper is now available for DMF Members to review and provide input. This paper is not a dictionary. Instead, it provides an explanation of what the terms mean in the context of retention and preservation and in light of what the DMF believes to be best practices based on Information-Centric Management and ILM-based practices for the datacenter.

To accompany the Terminology white paper, a brief article currently titled "The Terminology of Information-Centric Service Management" is also open for review.

Your knowledge and expertise is valuable to us. Please take this opportunity for your voice to be heard. If you have any questions please email ebull@snia.org.
