ENTERPRISE INFORMATION WORLD 2007
On November 16, 2006, the SNIA Board of Directors unanimously passed a
motion to adopt the DMF created Enterprise Information World (EIW)
Conference as a SNIA-wide program. This puts the resources of the entire
SNIA organization behind the EIW event. EIW will continue to promote the
information-centric enterprise and further establish SNIA as the =
worldwide
authority in information-based management practices.

The Data Management Forum will be leading EIW content planning with a =
focus
on information-based management practices and how they address the =
issues of
compliance, legal discovery, security, data growth, long-term data =
search
and access - many of the problems driving Enterprises to seek new =
methods to
operate, protect, store and archive their information. EIW brings =
together a
diverse audience of Application Management, Records and Information
Management (RIM), IT and Information Security to address these issues.

Stay tuned for more about this exciting event in the coming months!
