ESF Program Leadership Opportunities

ESF Program leaders are responsible for providing thought and action leadership in advancing work in their area of interest.   Typically two people lead (co-chair) each focus area.  This allows for distribution of the work load, and permits work to continue when normal company business interruptions occur.

  • Establish the agenda for each call
  • Lead the collaborative effort to establish priorities for the area of focus
  • Contribute to work projects
  • Review/edit submitted work products

Typical program work products include:

  • Articles for publication in Storage Industry & IT magazines
  • Whitepapers for publication and distribution
  • Creation of presentations and SNIA tutorials
  • Delivery of presentations at tradeshows and events (optional)
  • Contributions of content for posting to the ESF website
  • Lead any appropriate outreach programs beyond the ESF
