The mission of the SNIA Ethernet Storage Forum (ESF) is to drive the broad adoption of Ethernet-connected storage networking solutions. The Ethernet Storage Forum fulfills its mission by:

Promoting Ethernet-connected storage networking solutions, relevant standards, and the industry’s implementation of these standards

Promoting the value of Ethernet-connected storage networking solutions to the industry and its customers

Accelerating SNIA’s evolution to a worldwide organization embracing all storage networking technologies

Conducting and promoting interoperability demonstrations and plugfests

Pursuing alliances and leveraging SNIA committees and events to accomplish education and end-user outreach programs

Advocating customer needs and reflecting user concerns and issues back into the industry standards development process.

ESF Leadership Team
The activity of the SNIA Ethernet Storage Forum is governed by the policies and procedures adopted by the Ethernet Storage Forum governing body and those defined by the SNIA Board of Directors. The 2013 ESF Governing Board comprises the following member company representatives:
