Marketing

The SMI Marketing Committee helps ensure that new specification requirements are market-driven.

Conformance Testing

Provides 3rd party independent testing to determine and logo storage products for conformance to open standards. See SNIA Conformance Testing Program (CTP) for SMI-S.

SMI-Lab

A unique industry-wide collaborative program that supports the development and implementation of SMI-S based Client and Provider products from SNIA member companies. More information.

SMI-Specification Technical Work Groups (TWGs)

SNIA members actively contribute to SMI-S through standards development. TWGs, which develop portions of SMI-S through consensus under direction of the SMI Technical Steering Group and Technical Council, welcome new members. Support is provided to TWG members from SNIA staff, including a technical editor, to help you get up to speed. Learn more about these TWGs and join online.
