February 22–26, 2010, at the newly relocated SNIA US Technology Center.
SNIA Technology Center move
The SMI-Lab is now in the relocated SNIA Tech Center. Read about SMI's involvement in the move and the Grand Re-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on February 10, 2010.

SNIA Winter Symposium 2010
In January, the SMI-TSG led face-to-face SMI-S Track meetings at this event. During an evening SNIA reception, the SMI Governing Board presented the 2009 SMI Awards.

Management Developers Conference 2009
In November, SMI participated at MDC, with dedicated SMI-S sessions as well as Showcase events.

Storage Networking World
During Fall 2009 SNW, "suckers" were distributed at the SMI booth. View the SMI turorials presented at Fall 2009 SNW. Expect continued SMI participation at Spring 2010 SNW.

October 13, 2009 SNIA Announces SMI-S Conformance Test Enhancements in Version 1.4. Read how "Enhancements Help End Users Better Evaluate Storage Options." Also, 2010 Plugfests announced.

SMI-S V1.1.1 was accepted as an ANSI standard, ANSI INCITS 388-2008, Information Technology - Storage Management.

2009 Storage Developer Conference. In September, the SMI-S demonstration at SDC focused on teaching software developers how to navigate and easily implement SMI-S.
