What's New:SNIA-CTP program released the SMI-Provider 1.1.0 for Array, Fabric, Switch and Tape Libraries during the fall and winter of 2005. The program also introduced SMI-Client 1.1.0 testing in March of 2006, which is the second phase of client testing. Many vendors have already successfully passed the conformance tests. SNIA-CTP General InformationIntroduction:
The SNIA-CTP is the testing process used to validate the implementation of storage functions and ensure they conform to the existing SMI-S standard. This testing process is a critical piece of the building block in the effort to ensure multi-vendor storage products operate in a predictable manner for end users. Below are some useful documents to help understand and keep up-to-date on the current progress of the SMI-CTP programs.
