The SNIA security vision enhances information assurance and optimizes security investments while maintaining present operational effectiveness in the disparate technologies and standards that work together to form those storage ecosystems.

The Storage Security Industry Forum supports the SNIA security vision by consolidating our vast body of knowledge and practical experiences in security and storage into high quality educational, technical, and engineering activities that influence the design, use, and management of storage technology to better protect and secure information. We’re actively identifying best practices on building secure storage networks, providing education on storage security topics, and participating in standards development. Our goal is to provide data and information security expertise to contribute to a better understanding of information assurance and how it applies in your IT operations.
