XAM Plugfest Registration

Calling all XAM Application and Storage Vendors

The SNIA XAM Initiative invites you to attend the XAM Plugfest, XAM Hands-on-Lab, and XAM Initiative Strategic Planning Meeting during SNIA's Storage Developer Conference which is being held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA from September 13 to 17, 2009.

XAM Plugfests and XAM Hands on Labs (HOL) assist application and storage vendors in developing and implementing XAM based products, testing and validating interoperability across XAM-compliant storage devices, and demonstrating prototypes of XAM-enabled applications and devices. The event is open to the public, and attendees need not be members of the SNIA to attend(1).

The below provides an overview of the objectives of the plugfest:

Why Participate in the XAM Initiative?

Your company, partners and competitors are already participating. Don't be left out!

The SNIA has submitted the XAM specification for ANSI and ISO accreditation and is licensing its XAM SDK to the industry at large. Take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate your thought leadership position in the adoption of this standard.

XAM provides Information Independence for Applications and Storage. A true WIN, WIN, WIN for the customer, application developer and storage vendor communities.
