Compute, Memory, and Storage Initiative

Updated July 2022

The member companies of the SNIA Compute, Memory, and Storage Initiative (CMSI) support the industry drive to combine processing with memory and storage, and to create new compute architectures and software to analyze and exploit the explosion of data creation over the next decade. The CMSI and its special interest groups – Computational Storage, Persistent Memory, and Solid State Drives - engage and educate on technology, accelerate SNIA standards, and propel technology adoption through interactive webcasts with industry experts, videos on the SNIA YouTube channel, and programming bootcamps and demos at live and online technology events.  Learn more about the Initiative in our video below, on our Blog and our About page, and in our CMSI and Persistent Memory Infographics.
