The second annual In-Memory Computing Summit Europe, has been relocated to London this year. The In-Memory Computing Summit is the only industry-wide event which focuses on the full range of in-memory computing-related technologies and solutions. The conference is attended by technical decision makers, implementers and developers who make or influence purchasing decisions about in-memory computing, Big Data, Fast Data, IoT and HPC solutions. Hosted in London, the event is a meeting place for in-memory computing experts from across Europe and Asia.

Join SNIA at the In-Memory Computing Summit Europe, June 25-26, 2018 at Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, London. SNIA Europe Vice-Chair and SNIA Solid State Storage Initiative (SSSI) Co-Chair Alex McDonald of NetApp will keynote a session on SNIA and Persistent Memory, highlighting SNIA work on an NVM programming model and persistent memory solutions available today.

SNIA is also an association sponsor of IMCS Europe. SNIA Executive Director Michael Oros and SSSI Marketing Chair Jennifer Dietz of Intel will discuss SNIA persistent memory activities at their booth.

Storage Field Day (SFD) focuses on enterprise storage and data protection in both physical and virtual worlds. SFD brings together the best independent thought leaders in data storage to discuss pressing issues and technology advancements with key companies in the space.

Dr. J Metz, SNIA Board of Directors, R&D Engineer - Storage Networking and Solutions, Office of the CTO, Cisco will present at Storage Field Day 16, discussing:

SNIA Technology Focus

SNIA’s mission is to lead the storage industry worldwide in developing and promoting vendor-neutral architectures, standards, and educational services that facilitate the efficient management, movement, and security of information. Hear about the technical work SNIA is involved with this year to achieve that goal.

NVMe over Fabrics

You’ve heard about NVMe™ and you’ve heard about NVMe™ over Fabrics (NVMe-oF™). What, exactly, do the “Fabrics” mean in “NVMe over Fabrics? This presentation will dive into the “fabrics” of NVMe-oF, namely how NVMe-oF works with RDMA-based (i.e., RoCE and iWARP) and Fibre Channel-based storage networks, as what may be coming in the future.

Monday, July 23 - Friday, July 27, 2018
Portland, Oregon

Hosted by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF),  and co-hosted with our alliance partner, Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), the twelfth annual Alliance Partner Technical Symposium will be held on Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27, 2018. Led by DMTF's VP of Alliances, John Leung, this year's event offers meetings focused on technical topics and addresses the technical work of interest to each of the DMTF’s Alliance Partners
