SNIA Announces Cloud Object Storage Test Tools Technical Work Group (TWG)
The Cloud Object Storage Test Tools TWG is dedicated to researching, developing, and publishing interoperability test software and methods to expand and enhance the technical compatibility of the S3 ecosystem, including basic cross-vendor interoperability for cloud, on-prem, hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. Fixed Function Computational Operations for NVMe Standard
The SNIA Computational Storage Technical Work Group (TWG) is defining a new NVMe® command that simplifies interactions with a computational engine integrated into that device. This will become the Fixed Function Computational Operations for NVMe standard. It will enable simplified access to standardized fixed-function computational engines on NVMe devices. Swordfish v1.2.8 Released as SNIA Standard
SNIA Storage Management (SM) announces SNIA Swordfish® v1.2.8 is now available as a SNIA Standard and is entering the ISO publication process. Swordfish v1.2.8 includes expanded content for NVMe® device management to support joint work with the OpenFabrics Alliance and DMTF. Learn more here.
