SNIA Swordfish™ School Series Now on YouTube

Get schooled in SNIA Swordfish™ by tuning into SNIA's YouTube Channel. The Storage Management Initiative (SMI) is excited to announce the Swordfish School playlist, which will contain videos on a variety of Swordfish specification topics.
The SNIA Swordfish customer-centric interface extends the DMTF's Redfish® specification (API) to handle the management of storage equipment and storage services found in modern data centers. SNIA Swordfish is being developed by over 20 storage vendors including some of the largest in the industry.
The first in the Swordfish School series features Doug Voigt, Distinguished Technologist, HPE, in "Storage Volume Creation Basics in Redfish® and Swordfish™.” Be sure to subscribe to “catch” new Swordfish School videos.

Call for Nominations: SNIA Board and Technical Council

Nominations are open for the 2018 SNIA Board of Directors and Technical Council elections. Every voting member company should consider nominating candidates for election. You may nominate yourself or a company colleague. Nominations are due August 31, 2017.
The Board of Directors (Board) is the governing body of SNIA, and is composed of 10 Directors elected by the membership, and 3 Directors at–large appointed by the Board. The Technical Council (TC) is the body of technical experts that guides the technical direction of SNIA. It is composed of 7 members elected by the membership and 2 members nominated by the Technical Council and appointed by the Board. The 2018 term runs from the October 2017 Annual Members' Meeting until the October 2018 meeting. Nomination Deadline: August 31, 2017. Learn more about how to submit a nomination.
