2025-2026 Board of Directors and Technical Council Nomination Process
The nomination and election process for the 2025-2026 Board of Directors and the Technical Council is now open.
Platinum level member companies should consider nominating candidates for election. You may nominate yourself or a company colleague. Gold level member companies are eligible to participate in the election and vote on the candidates. If a Gold level member company is interested in running for a voting Board or TC position, please contact membership@snia.org. The deadline to submit a candidate nomination is August 31, 2025, midnight PDT.
The Board of Directors is the governing body of SNIA, and for voting purposes it is composed of 10 Directors elected by the membership, and up to 3 Directors appointed by the Board.
The Technical Council is the body of technical experts that guides the technical direction of SNIA. It is composed of 8 members elected by the membership and up to 3 members nominated by the Technical Council and appointed by the Board.

| September 1 – 4 | Notice to Members of Election Period and Issuing of Election ballot by e-mail from SNIA Executive Director as “Call to Vote” |
| September 4 | Candidate bios, photos, and Candidate statements (as available) posted on SNIA Website |
| September 1–30 | Voting–Member Company designated Voting Representatives submit their ballot. Only the COO and one designated SNIA Staff member manage the balloting results. Votes may be changed by submitter any time during the voting period |
| September 30, Midnight PT | Voting is closed |
| October 3 | Results of votes disclosed to Candidates |
| October 23, 8AM PT | Election Results will be announced during our 2025 Annual Membership Teleconference Meeting |
