STA is now part of SNIA! On June 27, 2023, SNIA and the SCSI Trade Association announced the new SNIA SCSI Trade Association Forum (STA Forum). STA and SNIA have had a long-standing alliance. As a technology community within SNIA, the STA Forum will promote the use and understanding of SCSI and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology. STA was a standalone marketing organization tightly connected with the T10 (INCITS Technical Committee for SCSI Storage Interfaces) standards organization, which develops SCSI and SAS standards. Now, STA is a forum within SNIA, and the mission and T10 ties remain the same. If you are going to Flash Memory Summit, come visit STA Forum in booth #849.

The Rise of Confidential AI
Wednesday, July 26, 2023
Parviz Peiravi, Intel; Richard Searle, Fortanix; Erin Farr, IBM
With cloud data privacy regulations evolving worldwide and accelerated adoption of AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Large Language Models (LLMs) and more, companies must ensure data and AI models are compliant. Confidential AI is a new collaborative platform for data and AI teams to work with sensitive data sets and run AI models in a confidential environment. It includes infrastructure, software, and workflow orchestration to create a secure, on-demand work environment that meets organizations' privacy requirements and complies with regulatory mandates.
