Information Unit

  1. 1. [iSCSI] A delimited and sequenced set of information in a format appropriate for transport by the service delivery subsystem.

    An iSCSI Information Unit may contain a command, data, response, or task management request.

  2. [Fibre Channel] A related collection of data specified by an FC-4 to be transferred as a single FC-2 Sequence.
