Cathleen Scerbo is Vice President, Chief Information Officer at the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a non-profit professional membership association whose mission is to define, promote and improve the privacy profession globally. Prior to joining the IAPP team in February 2019, she held various executive technology leadership positions at Liberty Mutual across infrastructure, applications and technology services. Cathy is an advocate of Women in Technology, and passionate about technology literacy for business executives. She earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

Privacy's Increasing Role in Technology
Every organization today is in some state of digital transformation. While the understanding of security needs in the digital age has matured significantly in the last 2 decades, the implication for data privacy and in particular its interaction with technology solutions, are still not well understood.
