PhD Student, Virginia Tech

Hansen Idden is a third-year PhD student at Virginia Tech researching CXL-based storage and memory systems. He has published at FAST and ASPLOS on CXL-SSD emulation and memory tiering. His current research focuses on characterizing commercial CXL-SSD devices to understand buffer management behavior and inform workload optimization strategies.
