Latchesar Ionkov is a Scientist in Los Alamos National Laboratory's HPC division. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018 with a research focused on divergent replicas of scientific data storage. He is currently working on the design and the implementation of a codec for DNA storage as part of the IARPA MIST project.
