S. Sankaranarayanan received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson. He holds 30+ patents and a book chapter in areas of SSD systems architecture, media architecture, and LDPC codes. He is a Distinguished Engineer at Micron Technology and works on storage systems pathfinding. His current focus is on the impact of storage on at-scale AI/ ML systems.
