Vincent Franceschini
Senior Director of Product Management, Biomemory
Vincent Franceschini is an accomplished strategist and technologist with over 30 years of experience shaping products and solutions in IT and data storage. He is today the Senior Director of Product Management at Biomemory, pioneering synthetic DNA-based storage for next-generation data centers. Previously, he was Chief Research Officer at Hitachi Vantara, leading co-innovation initiatives with customers and partners. Within the Hitachi Group and industry consortia, he contributed to technology and standards initiatives across AI, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, HR-tech, and IT & data storage domains. Vincent has led projects in Europe, the US, Japan, and China, served nine years on the SNIA Board including two as Chairman, and is now SNIA Chairman Emeritus and Co-Chair of the DNA Data Storage Alliance. Franceschini began his career in technology at Digital Equipment Corporation as a software engineer. He received his “Ingénieur en Informatique” degree in Artificial Intelligence & Industrial Applications from l’École Pour l’Informatique et les Techniques Avancées in Paris, France.
