Distinguished Engineer, Broadcom

Wenguang Wang is a Distinguished Engineer of Broadcom. He is the architect of vSAN, the enterprise storage solution of VMware by Broadcom. He started, led, and shipped checksum and data-at-rest encryption of vSAN OSA, vSAN File Services, and vSAN ESA. Before joining VMware, Wenguang worked at Apple, started, led, and shipped UDF, File Vault 2, Fusion Drive, and File Vault Everywhere. He has more than 170 granted patents in the software design and algorithms area. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
