During SNIA's Cloud Object Storage multi-vendor compatibility Plugfest held at SDC’24, it became apparent to the community during three days of testing that a lack of commonly accepted open source test tools is one of the more obvious pain points for the industry. All contributors test our implementations and all mature well accepted protocols conduct regularly scheduled Plugfests along with proactive development of open source test tools to get the job done.
