S3 Interoperability - Adoption Proliferation and Strategic Testing

Abstract
Exuberant industry adoption has proliferated S3 widely across client commercial applications, as well as deep within on-premise compute, storage, database and business analytic micro-services, while continuing robust growth across hybrid, cloud, and multi-cloud deployments. Much of this growth has been demanded by a wide spectrum of end-customers, who desire rapid innovation, yet expect flawless and seamless S3 interoperability, regardless of which application or storage vendor who provides the service. This BoF will explore proactive and cost-effective methods for industry S3 developers to collaboratively sustain, drive, and accelerate this unprecedented growth, leveraging strategic multi-vendor testing. BoF participants will help shape direction for collaborative multi-vendor S3 interoperability testing, and help influence plans for future SNIA COS Plugfests and SNIA COS Test Tools TWG activities.
