The SNIA Emerald™ Program provides a variety of training materials addressing the SNIA Emerald™ Power Efficiency Measurement Specification, performing tests based on the Measurement Specification, and preparing and submitting test results.
SNIA Emerald Specification V4.0.0 Training Update Webinar
On September 16, 2020, the SNIA Green Storage TWG (Technical Work Group) and Green Storage Initiative (GSI) delivered a 2 hour training update webinar oriented toward Emerald testers detailing the changes in SNIA Emerald V4.0 relative to SNIA Emerald V3.0.3. The agenda for the webinar follows with slides from the presentations. We explect to post recordings of the sessions soon.

Note
SNIA Emerald™ Power Efficiency Measurement Specification V4.0.0 has testing procedures that are very similar to those of V3.0.3 and V3.0.2. Testing for the added Solid State Storage-based systems is the same as for disk-based systems. Therefore, training materials developed for V3.0.2 are largely applicable to testing based on V4.0.0.
