Technical Work

Our community provides support to promote the work of the SNIA Cloud Storage Technical Work Group, we:

Facilitate Cloud Object Storage compatibility testing
Proactively broaden multi-vendor compatibility testing
Collaborate among peer community to gain consensus on common API command set
Define best practice around protocol options and behavior changes
Empower an industry forum to collaboratively advocate among ecosystem stakeholders on future direction
Streamline overall industry effort to expedite affordable, timely and efficient Cloud Object Storage compatibility testing
Promote the SNIA CDMI™ (Cloud Data Management Interface) open ISO standard (ISO/IEC 17826:2022) for managing data namespaces.
