CMSI Business Development Committee

The Business Development Committee is responsible for all activities related to expanding the CMSI business, such as member status and recruitment, and revenue reviews. In addition to CMSI membership campaigns, this committee is responsible for identifying, managing and promoting upcoming events as well revenues associated with event sponsorships. This committee collaborates with the CMSI Marketing committee on event collateral and message positioning of CMSI with new members.

CMSI Marketing Committee

The CMSI Marketing Committee is responsible for planning and managing CMSI related marketing, PR activities and events and activities (e.g., requirements collection). This committee manages a budget and activities that are schedule driven (e.g., producing a MRD and supporting CMSI activities at trade shows and is also responsible for all outbound communications.

CMSI Education Committee

The CMSI Education Committee is responsible for providing and delivering educational content for solid state storage, persistent memory, and computational storage, including: technology; systems architecture; industry trends, usage, and best practices; reliability and performance; and consumer offerings. SNIA Tutorials, SNIA Brightalk presentations, white papers and articles will be the primary vehicles used. The goal is to ensure general market understanding of these technologies in enterprise and consumer applications.

CMSI Solid State Drive (SSD) Special Interest Group (SIG)

The CMSI SSD SIG is chartered to provide guidance to the marketplace on SSDs. This can take the form of educational materials, best practices documents and SNIA standards. The SIG coordinates with other industry organizations involved in SSD-related activities. The SIG will stay consistent with the messaging developed by these organizations and do not reinvent materials, when such materials already exist and are accessible. CMSI Persistent Memory and NVDIMM (PM & NVDIMM) Special Interest Group (SIG)

The CMSI PM & NVDIMM SIG is chartered to accelerate the awareness and adoption of Persistent Memory (PM) and Non-Volatile Dual In-line Memory Modules (NVDIMMs) for computing architectures. Details on their programs and activities is at
