How does my company join SNIA?

How much does it cost to join SNIA?
Depending on your membership level the cost to join SNIA ranges from $1,000 to $50,000 annually. To view the levels and membership benefits, please visit https://www.snia.org/snia-new-member-entitlements
Do you offer Individual Memberships?
No, SNIA does not offer individual memberships, only company memberships. There is no limit on the number of employees from your company who can participate.
What is a Community?
A Community focuses on vendor-neutral education and promotion of specific technologies that aligns with the technical development activities within specific SNIA Technical Work Groups. To learn more about the Communities SNIA has to offer, please visit: https://www.snia.org/groups
How do I join a Community or Technical Work Group?
Login to your SNIA User account. Top left corner of your user account, click on "SNIA Hub" and scroll down and click "Join a Workgroup." From there you can select workgroups to join. There is NO limit on the number of Communities or Technical Work Groups you can participate in with your membership.
Will everyone in my company be a member of SNIA?
Every employee in the company is eligible to create a SNIA User account. Your company's domain name is entered into our database and any employee with the same domain name can enter the site, receive a username and password and join the e-mail lists. Click here to request your login.
What if I work for a university?
SNIA offers a complimentary non-voting membership to educational institutions. If accepted, any one from your organization can have privileges on the SNIA members' only site.
What if I work for a small start-up company with a small budget?
Your company would be eligible for a "Small Company" membership if company annual revenue is less than $10M/year. Small Company memberships are available for an 80% discount: Gold level at $5,000/year and Silver level at $1,000/year. You may sign up for a SNIA user account here.
Who do I contact if I've forgotten my SNIA members-only user account info?
Send an email to membership@snia.org and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
How can I get on group reflectors once I am a member of SNIA?
- Login to your account by accessing the SNIA members' area at http://www.snia.org/members/
- On the left navigation click on the link named "View Work Groups" https://members.snia.org/workgroup/index
- Select the group you are interested in joining, and click on the "Join" or "Request Access" link
Your request will be approved by your comany's primary rep and processed by the group's Chair.
