Abstract
Low-power processors are now available to meet the needs of a wide variety of storage controllers. These controllers can run Linux to support open-source protocols, as well as standard or custom computational storage and machine learning workloads provisioned via container technologies. These controllers not only perform NAND management, Flash Translation and Host Control, but also offer an alternative source of diverse compute capabilities, power-efficiently and cost effectively. Attendees will walk away with a clear vision of how storage devices are undergoing revolutionary transformations.
