Colorado Springs, CO., July 30, 2018 – The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) will deliver a variety of Persistent Memory and Solid State Storage presentations at the upcoming Flash Memory Summit.

As volatile and non-volatile technologies are continuing to converge, persistent memory brings storage to memory slots for system acceleration, real-time data capture, analysis, and intelligent response. SNIA continues to prioritize building the ecosystem driving system memory and storage into a single, unified, “persistent memory” entity, and will share its efforts with the industry at the Flash Memory Summit.

SNIA experts will discuss the latest developments including market trends, understanding new applications for persistent memory, and identifying new methods to better understand flash and persistent memory performance.

To learn about the technical work and key initiatives that SNIA experts are working on related to Persistent Memory and Solid State Storage, be sure to stop by SNIA’s Summit Booth #820 in the Exhibit Hall where two multi-vendor NVDIMM-N performance demonstrations from SNIA members AgigA Tech, Micron, Netlist, SMART Modular, Supermicro, and Viking Technology will be featured.

Exhibit Hall hours are as follows:

  • Tuesday, August 7: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Wednesday, August 8: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Thursday, August 9: 10:00am - 2:30pm
