consistent volume

1. [Storage System] A volume that satisfies the consistency criteria of the system on which it is hosted.

2. [File System]

In LTFS, a volume in which all partitions are complete, and the last LTFS Index in the Index partition has a back pointer to the last LTFS Index in the data partition.

If an LTFS volume is not consistent, some form of recovery may be necessary.
