Abstract
The SNIA Emerald™ Taxonomy used by the SNIA Emerald™ Power Efficiency Measurement Specification and the ENERGY STAR® for Data Center Storage Specification is being updated and expanded for use in future revisions of these specifications. This document describes the changes and their rationale and is a vehicle for soliciting review and comment on these changes in advance of their being incorporated into these specifications.
