Abstract

IP SANs can serve as a very cost effective approach to consolidating storage from DAS islands that is typically underutilized. This presentation will review the key strategies and best practices around the consolidation of storage to an IP SAN. In addition, best practices on to maintain the cost efficiency and utilization of IP SANs well be reviewed in order keep them from morphing into SAN islands.
