Abstract
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) released the Version 2.0.3 SNIA Emerald™ Power Efficiency Test and Measurement Specification in 2013, as referenced by the EPA ENERGY STAR Program Specification for Data Center Storage. To further the adoption of SNIA Emerald™, SNIA is now announcing the SNIA Emerald™ Recognized Tester Program (RTP), and designating the first test lab to qualify. RTP recognizes organizations that offer testing services by their demonstration of competency in performing repeatable SNIA Emerald™ specification test methods, procedures, and results.
