SNIA and Partners to Showcase Cutting-Edge Data Technologies at SC24

Atlanta, GA., November 13, 2024 - SNIA, a not-for-profit global organization for technologies related to handling and optimizing data, and six SNIA Alliance and Collaboration Partners will exhibit at the Open Standards Pavilion, Booth 1815, at SC24 November 17-22, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Highlights:

  • Focus on AI and HPC: SNIA demonstrations in the Open Standards Pavilion will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions in computational storage, CXL® memory and persistent memory enablement, SSD form factors, scalable storage management with SNIA Swordfish®, and 24G+ SAS (Serial Attached SCSI).
  • Industry Collaboration: Joining SNIA in the Open Standards Pavilion will be DMTF, Fibre Channel Industry Association, OpenFabrics AllianceUltra Accelerator Link Consortium, Ultra Ethernet Consortium, and Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express™ Consortium.
  • Expert Panel Discussion: Representatives from nine industry standards bodies – CXL Consortium, DMTF, NVM Express®, OpenFabrics Alliance, PCI-SIG®, SNIA, Ultra Accelerator Link Consortium, Ultra Ethernet Consortium, and Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express Consortium – will be participating in a panel at SC24 discussing how these standards organizations are collaborating to foster innovation as technology trends accelerate. The “Industry Standards Working Together to Accelerate Innovation in AI and HPC” panel, moderated by SNIA Board of Directors Vice Chair Richelle Ahlvers, is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 a.m. View the SC24 Program for additional information.
