Sydney, 23rd April 2008 - The Storage Networking Industry Association for Australia and New Zealand today announced a strategic collaboration to host a new Data Security Village (DSV) at the forthcoming Security 2008 - Australia's largest and most respected Security exhibition and conference.
Showcasing the world's best security products and highlighting industry best practice, Security 2008 runs over three days from 26-28th August 2008 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre and incorporates an exhibition, seminars, conference, gala awards dinner and cocktail party.
The DSV is an area dedicated to data security, privacy and regulatory compliance, and the current industry developments for standards and best practices. Visitors will be able to attend free seminars delivered by industry specialists, compare all the latest technologies, and discuss the trends with subject matter experts. There will be an emphasis on providing a balance of independent education on data security topics, and showcasing the latest technologies from the industry.
The Security 2008 Exhibition and Conference is organised by Diversified Exhibitions Australia and the Australian Security Industry Association Ltd (ASIAL). In creating the Data Security Village SNIA ANZ has also sought the assistance and support of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA).
