Durham, N.H., February 12, 2019 -- The University of New Hampshire Interoperability Lab (UNH-IOL), an independent provider of broad-based testing and standards conformance solutions for the networking industry, is excited to announce they recently joined the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), which leads the storage industry in developing and promoting vendor-neutral architectures, standards and educational services that facilitate the efficient management, movement and security of information. The goal of joining SNIA is to follow initiatives around computational storage, the Networking Storage Forum, and the Solid State Storage Initiative.

SNIA and the UNH-IOL share common objectives for interoperability and each organization has complementary programs and infrastructure for interoperability and conformance of various storage technologies.

"The UNH-IOL is excited to be involved in SNIA. There are many new use cases emerging for uses of storage and storage networking. Working with SNIA will help us continue to deliver on our mission of supporting interoperability," said David Woolf, senior engineer, UNH-IOL.

Through their 30 years of experience and industry involvement, the UNH-IOL demonstrates their commitment to the advancement of technology and enhancement of testing throughout the industry. The UNH-IOL continues to uphold their reputation for being an independent, vendor-neutral testing facility with a focus on quality assurance.
