	Sowmya Narayanan Sadagopan Chairman, BoG, IIITDM-Kancheepuram & Founding Director IIIT Bangalore Professor Sowmyanarayanan Sadagopan was the Director (President) of IIIT-Bangalore (a Ph.D. granting University) until July 2021. Earlier he taught at IIT Kanpur (1979-95) and IIM Bangalore (1995-99) as well as Rutgers University, USA (1997) and AIT Bangkok, Thailand (1990). IIIT's represent a set of new generation universities that started in India in the late 90's with a special focus on IT; IIIT-Bangalore is one of the first such Institutes. As the first Director of IIIT-Bangalore, he was involved in the visioning, planning, and executing the growth of this Institute that is counted as one of the premier Institutes in India. Sadagopan obtained his MS & Ph.D. Degrees from Purdue University, USA in 1979 and BE (Hons) Degree from Madras University, India in 1973. His teaching/research interests include OR, IT Applications to Government, Enterprises, and Education. Sadagopan's research work has appeared in reputed journals that include IEEE Transactions, EJOR, and J of Opt. Theory & App. He has authored seven books. He was the General Chair of the WWW2011. Sadagopan is a Fellow of the UK's IET (formerly IEE), Computer Society of India, and Institution of Engineers (India), and most recently ISPMA. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and ACM. He has won numerous awards that include Fulbright Fellowship (1995), “Champion of humanity” Award of Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (2009), “Rotary Honor of Vocational Excellence” by Rotary Northwest Bangalore District 3190 (2013), Cisco NDTV “Digital Pioneer” Award (2016), "Distinguished Alumni Award" from the College of Engineering, Guindy (2019) to name a few.
	Murali Brahmadesam CTO & Head of Engineering, Razorpay Murali Brahmadesam is CTO & Head of Engineering of Razorpay, India's preferred payments and banking platform for businesses. He has two decades of experience in building large scale systems ranging from filesystems, content addressable storage, cloud backup, large scale data processing and machine learning, and relational databases. He was a founding member of Amazon Aurora product where he pioneered the development of cloud native relational database service by reimagining the traditional database stack for the cloud. The core innovation in Aurora was the novel purpose built distributed storage system for databases. At Razorpay he aspires to build the next generation payment and banking systems.
	Dia Ali Data Intelligence Global Solution Leader, Hitachi Vantara Dia Ali is a Data Intelligence Leader for Hitachi Vantara. With over 20 years of industry experience leading teams in requirements definition and providing innovative solutions to enterprise organizations. Dia is known for his deep expertise and a forward-thinking mindset implementing an ecosystem of cross-industry customer-centric strategies. Dia held multiple leadership positions in Hitachi Vantara (previously Hitachi Data Systems) and is driven by a desire to inspire and develop others. Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Dia Ali held multiple positions at General Electric, Ford Motor Company, ATT, and other financial and telecommunication businesses. Dia Ali earned a two Bachelor’s Degree with double majors in Computer Engineering and Automatic Control Systems from the University of Yarmouk in Jordan.
	Tom Clark Distinguished Engineer, Chief Architect Storage Software, IBM Tom is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Architect for Storage Software based in Tucson, Arizona. He is responsible for the technical strategy, architecture and design of the IBM Spectrum Storage software products, including file systems, data protection and storage management. He leads architecture and strategy for storage for containers and hybrid cloud, software defined storage and information lifecycle management. Tom joined IBM in 2001 with the acquisition of Informix Software, where he led parallel database system design and development. He is the holder of 30 US and foreign patents in the areas of storage software and distributed systems design. Tom received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Portland State University.
	Rakesh Hanumanthappa Manager, Customer Success, VIAVI Solutions Rakesh is a Manager Customer Success - APJ at Viavi Solutions. 	Somesh Joshi Software Engineer, Dell Technologies Somesh Joshi works as a Software Engineer at Dell Technologies and have obtained BE/CSE degree from VTU. Currently. He has experience in Java development & testing including hands-on experience over Devops Platform - Kubernetes for "Pravega" - a Distributed Streaming & Storage Application as his current working project. In his current project he has worked Jenkins based system tests automation on JUnit based testing framework while actively maintaining priavte GitHub repository for QA code base. Previously, he has worked on developing & deploying end-to-end web based Auditing application for a regional Bank over Java - Play Framework.
	Sumith Makam Principal Engineer, NetApp I've been working on File Systems for the last 16 years at NetApp. Worked primarily on File System Space Management and FS Checker/Recovery. Also worked on Consistency Point, Volume Management, Backup/Restore and Data Path improvements for SAN. Published a paper in Usenix about Recovery and Resiliency of File systems.
	Vijay Mhaskar VP Engineering and Pune center site lead, Veritas Vijay Mhaskar has over 25 years of experience in various leadership positions in the software industry, having worked in India and United States with leading technology companies like Avaya, Symantec, Veritas Software, Sun Microsystems, NCR, and Godrej & Boyce. Currently, Vijay is serving as VP of Engineering at Veritas and is the Pune site lead. At Veritas, Vijay is responsible for building new age data protection solutions for modern and legacy workloads. Before Veritas, Vijay served as COO at Quick Heal and was responsible for building accelerated growth strategy by fostering innovation in product development, sales, marketing, support, services, and product management. Vijay has led innovation and development of many products in server hardware, storage management, data protection, unified collaboration, and security domains. Vijay holds a BE Electrical Engineering degree from Mumbai University (Gold medalist) and MTech in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai (Second Rank).
	Karnendu Pattanaik Senior Manager, Dell Technologies Karnendu Pattanaik has more than 20 years of storage engineering experience. He has a wide range of experience in storage domain like DAS,SAN, NAS, NvMe, Distributed system, Object Storage and Streaming Platform. While working for various projects he has worked most projects from incubation till sustenance and has ensured successful delivery. Karnendu is currently working in Dell where he is the QE lead for Objects storage and streaming platform. Before Dell Karnendu was working with Mindteck as General Manager where he was handling various storage projects. Karnendu also was in SNIA India Board as a secretary for the time period of 2018-22.
	Sridhar Sabesan Director, Platform Engineering, Western Digital® Sridhar Sabesan is the Director of Platform Engineering, leading the development and qualification of Western Digital platform products – Ultrastar Data60/102 - JBODs, Hybrid JBODs, Ultrastar Serv - Dense Storage Servers, Ultrastar Edge & Edge-MR : Portable Edge Servers, OpenFlex Data24 - NVMeoF JBOFs, RapidFlex family of NVMe-oF Controllers and WD Resource Manager - Management software. He is also responsible for global proof of concepts, ecosystem development and customer engagements. He has led and delivered multiple industry first products in Western Digital, Broadcom (LSI) and Intel. He has a wide experience across multiple generations of servers & storage and is a noted speaker in multiple industry forums like OCP, CIO Klub, others and has done tens of product evangelisation in boot camps.
	Murali Krishna Senior Principal Engineer, Amazon Web Services Murali Krishna is a Senior Principal Engineer at AWS SearchServices in India. He has built Amazon OpenSearch Service and Amazon CloudSearch. His areas of expertise include Information Retrieval, Large scale distributed computing, low latency real time serving systems etc. He has vast experience in designing and building web scale systems for crawling, processing, indexing and serving text and multimedia content. Prior to Amazon, he was part of Yahoo!, building crawling and indexing systems for their search products.
	Sanjeev Kumar Lead, Storage Center of Excellence, Tata Consultancy Services Sanjeev Kumar is a Storage domain consultant and is leading the Storage Centre of Excellence within the HiTech business unit at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He has 18+ years of experience in Product Development, Quality Assurance, Sustenance and Solution Development in the Storage Industry. He has extensive experience across the storage stack and his key areas of focus are embedded system technologies, Solid State Storage (NVMe/NVMeOF), Hyperconvergence, Data Protection Technologies, Cloud Storages, Container Platforms and Storage Integration. Sanjeev has presented in SNIA SDC India multiple times and he is a Member of Technical Council for SNIA India.
	Varun Kumar Paliwal Technical Lead, Mindteck Varun Kumar Paliwal is an Embedded Developer who works as Technical Lead in Mindteck India Pvt Ltd. He has 6 years of experience in Firmware and Embedded Development in Product based environments and 2 years of experience in Modem Firmware & Telecom domain (LTE) - Physical Layer(L1). Varun holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and a Master’s Degree in Embedded Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

	Abdul Ahad Amir Senior Staff Engineer, Samsung Abdul Ahad Amir is working as a Test architect in Samsung. He has more than 12 years of diverse experience working on various storage products. He has technical expertise in SAN, NVMe-oF, Cloud Computing, Clustered systems, Software-defined-storage and Performance engineering of storage arrays in production environments.
	Abhin Balur Senior Principal Engineer, Dell Technologies I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Goa University. I have 13+ years of experience in the Software Engineering world. I have worked at various firms like IBM, HPE in the past having led development on their network management systems. I am currently at Dell, pursuing my interest in the data streaming domain and I work in a project called as Pravega, which is a distributed storage and processing system for data streams.
	Sravan Kumar Reddy Bhavanam Member of Technical Staff, Nutanix After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, I began exploring the domain of system and network architecture. I have been fortunate enough to work with Samsung on the latest 5G network stack and work on some very challenging issues related to Data Replication across Distributed Systems with Nutanix.
	Aparna Bindage Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Veritas I'm Aparna Bindage from Veritas Technologies LLC, Pune working as Software Quality Assurance Engineer in appliance and storage domain. I have around 2 years of experience in manual as well as automation testing. I have been working on different projects in areas such as cloud, virtualization and automation using different framework, libraries and languages. Also worked on qualification of Veritas product and VMware infrastructure, automation of E-E OpenShift deployment. 	Swati Chawdhary Senior Manager, Samsung Swati Chawdhary is a Senior Manager at Samsung. She has diverse experience in Storage domain. Her recent work focuses on the test and development of NVMe-oF/NVMe controllers and All Flash Array reference designs. Before joining Samsung, she worked at Chelsio Communications, where she contributed to the development of their Unified Wire Adapters. She has participated in conferences like IEEE Wintechcon, SDC India/US and NVMe developer Days. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pune University.
	Anupam Chomal Software Security Expert, CARIAD Anupam Jagdish Chomal works as a Software Security Expert in CARIAD, Volkswagen’s automotive software and technology company. Prior to this, he worked as the Security lead for many DellEMC products. At both places, he has been securing APIs between core backend and our applications using them. He has over 20+ yrs of experience in Storage, Networking, and Security domain. His area of interest includes Network, Application and Cloud Security. 	Deepak Ghuge Software Architect & Master Inventor, IBM Deepak Ghuge is Software Architect and Master Inventor with IBM. In his 13 years of experience, Deepak has worked on multiple technologies like Filesystems, Storage, Authentication, Security, Object Storage and Containers. Currently he is leading the effort to enable Spectrum Scale as storage for Containers. Deepak holds master degree from BITS Pilani and B.Tech in Computer Science from COEP.
	Anuj Gupta Software Engineer, Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) Anuj Gupta is a Software engineer in the Global Open Source Team at Samsung Electronics. As part of Samsung's open source team, his main interest is into Linux storage stack with focus on io_uring and nvme driver advancement. He has recently worked on async-passthru support in Linux kernel, where he contributed to io_uring, NVMe and fio.

	Ajay Joshi Technologist, Western Digital Ajay Joshi is a Technologist at Western Digital working as a part of their research team. He has more than 18 years of experience out of which he has spent a significant amount of time in storage and their related technologies. As a part of the research team in Western Digital, he looks at emerging technologies like computational storage, ZNS, and interconnects like CXL, NVMe, and their adoption. He also looks into the enablement of these in the open-source ecosystem.
	Badarinarayan Joshi Associate Technical Director, Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) Badarinarayan Joshi is currently working as Associate Technical Director at Samsung Electronics. He is maintainer of Trident (https://github.com/poseidonos/trident) open source test tool for Poseidon OS. His work area includes automation frameworks development, NVMe and NVMe-oF based system qualification. His past experience include NVMe device driver verification.
	Kanchan Joshi Associate Director, Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) Kanchan is an associate director at Samsung (SSIR), where he currently leads a team that adds advancements in the Linux I/O stack. He is a Linux kernel contributor and presented at conferences such as SDC, LPC and LSF/MM. He has engaged in system-software development across operating systems and published papers in USENIX conferences (FAST, HotStorage).
	Supriya Kannery Software Senior Principal Engineer, Dell Technologies Supriya Kannery is an architect in System Management area of Storage systems. She is experienced in system software development, customer support and quality assurance. She enjoys learning latest technologies and applying in servers to enhance customer experience. 	Cherami Liu Architect, Dell Technologies Cherami is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in Dell Technologies, Infrastructure Solution Group. He has 20+ years of experience, and has been with Dell for 12 years in the data protection. Cherami is a subject matter expert in infrastructure, security and performance. He has played the role of infrastructure architect for Dell data protection product called PowerProtect Data Manager and work on install, upgrade, security and performance tuning, he has around 30 authorized patents on those domains

	Sathyashankara Bhat Muguli Director, Micron Technologies Sathyashankara Bhat Muguli is the Director for SSD Product Validation at Micron India with over all 22 years of experience. He has demonstrated his expertise around Data Storage Solutions, Software Defined Storage and NVMe SSD. In his professional life, he has been part of successful Storage product releases at EMC, Netapp, SanDisk and Micron.
