If you wish to suggest a fix, solution or improvement to the Specification (collectively, "Contribution"), SNIA appreciates your Contribution. However, the Contribution must be submitted and it can only be accepted on terms that assure, to the extent practicable, that the Contribution can be included, distributed, and used in the Specification.
Accordingly, you must agree to the following terms and conditions with respect to your Contribution as a condition of submitting it.
You agree that you have read and agree to the following:
- You represent that either: (i) you are self-employed and the sole owner of the Contribution, and you have the right to make the Contribution and to enter into this Agreement; (ii) you are employed and are making the Contribution on behalf of your employer, and you have the authority and consent of your employer to make the Contribution and enter into this Agreement on behalf of your employer; or (iii) you are making the Contribution on behalf of a company or organization (other than your employer), and you have the authority and consent of that company or organization (and any participants in that organization who authored the feedback) to make the Contribution and enter into this Agreement on its (and their) behalf.
- You grant to the SNIA a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license under any copyright in the Contribution to reproduce, display, publish, perform, distribute and make derivative work of the Contribution and to sublicense these rights to others.
- You represent that you, as an individual, have no actual knowledge of any intellectual property of yours or others that would necessarily be infringed in the implementation of your Contribution.
